The Paragon presented by Sidetrack Performance Group
Fronteras Americanas [American Borders], a Nexus production presented by Multicultural Arts Victoria

Multicultural Arts Marketing Ambassador to the Arts Centre, Carlos Sanchez, initiated a unique theatre project highlighting culturally diverse theatre at the Arts Centre’s Black Box. Kape Communications assisted with management, advice and marketing to culturally diverse audiences.

The one-person plays, The Paragon and Fronteras Americanas dealt with the search for cultural identity and personal journeys. Both plays were sharp and comedic receiving positive critical reviews while securing new audiences from culturally diverse youth and mainstream audiences.

Multicultural Arts Marketing Ambassadors (MAMAS) is an initiative of Melbourne University’s Art Management and Multicultural Arts Victoria and is funded by the Australia Council for the Arts. Theatre in the Box was assisted by the Victorian Arts Centre, kultour, Nexus Multicultural Arts Centre SA and Multicultural Arts Victoria.
